Home Enthronement

What is "Home Enthronement?"

It is a solemn act of placing God at the center of people's lives, especially the family. The members of the family accept holiness as a state to which God calls each one of them. Jesus is Lord and is worshipped as the King of the family. Mary, on the other hand, is the Mother of our Lord, our model for holiness and is honored as the Queen of the home.

Can the enthronement be done even if the children or the other family members are absent?

It is encouraged that all the family members be present during the home enthronement. However, if this is not possible, as long as there are representatives from the family present the enthronement can still be done. What is important is that Jesus and Mary are allowed to enter the home. From there, they will take care of uniting and sanctifying the whole family.

What about other, already existing devotions practiced by the lay people before the coming of the Alliance of the Two Hearts?

The Alliance of the Two Hearts-Communion of Reparation is not only a devotion, but also a way of life. Any devotion that will lead people to the Eucharist and practice a life of prayer is an authentic devotion. There should be no competition on which devotion to practice. On the contary, authentic devotions should promote a spirit of collaboration and should reaffirm one another.

How long does the enthronement last?

Normally about an hour and a half(depending on the length of the talk and procession around the house.)

What happens after the house has been enthroned?
A new way of life begins by fulfilling the C.A.R.E. program as the Family Daily Piety.  Then, the enthroned family or individual will be registered by O.A.T.H. to the Vatican under the pontifical council to be member of the Alliance of the Holy Family International.
